I had been meaning to do a Bernie Mac post about two weeks back but the procrastinating gene got the best of me. Well, Bernie kind of beat me to it. The comedy King passed away over the weekend and this has inevitably caused an onslaught of blog-epitaphs to one of the greatest comedians of our epoch. Before you go murmuring under your breath in disapproval, please recognize the fact that the Mac was in a league of his own - his jokes were sticky and one could always relate to his raw yet infectious style of comedy. Its only right to pay homage the best way we know how.
Bad news comes in two's apparently. Issac Hayes the Godfather of all things blaxploi-soulful also passed on this weekend. The odd thing is that, both Issac Hayes and Bernie Mac just finished a movie they were working on with Samuel L Jackson. Samuel cant be feeling to sure about himself right about now... "Schuuuuut Your Mouf" after all we, talkin' about Shaft!
