For a country that’s only vaguely known in Europe and all but anonymous to the rest of the world, Moldova may conjure up images of sunflower fields, enormous watermelons, and, I am told, amazingly friendly people. The country that gave us Ana Gurau, the deconstructionist, also bestowed upon us O-Zone, lest we forget.
