Times are hard, so artists have no option but to come up with creative concepts in an attempt to sell their product. Mos Def has fused our obsession with music and fashion by releasing his latest album 'The Estatic' in T-shirt format. For 40 bucks [About 25 smackers] the Mos Def Music Tee features the album cover art on the front, with the track-listing on the back and a unique download code on the swing tag. I'm not the download type as I'm a sucker for tangible music you can feel, inlay cards, CD and such. Then again, this kinda takes the music to the "tangible" level if you are the download type.

nobody can save you but
yourself.
you will be put again and again
into nearly impossible
situations.
they will attempt again and again
through subterfuge, guise and
force
to make you submit, quit and/or die quietly
inside.
nobody can save you but
yourself
and it will be easy enough to fail
so very easily
but don’t, don’t, don’t.
just watch them.
listen to them.
do you want to be like that?
a faceless, mindless, heartless
being?
do you want to experience
death before death?
nobody can save you but
yourself
and you’re worth saving.
it’s a war not easily won
but if anything is worth winning then
this is it.
think about it.
think about saving your self.

"...There is a thin line between being followed and being chased. I'm not quite sure about the idea of being followed. "Followed", kind of gives off the impression that you are unaware of the fact that someone else is always two steps behind your every move. I'd rather I was being chased, not followed. It's much more thrilling knowing you have to get away."
